Write your own Will online with our step-by-step process
Click to add Legal Advice at the checkout, and receive a link to book a call back at a time suitable for you.
A lawyer will talk to you about your personal circumstances, answer any questions about your Will, and assist in making amendments if needed.
Our Legal Advice service involves a phone call with a specialist Wills & Estate lawyer to discuss your Will. The length of the phone call depends on your personal circumstances, but will generally be approximately 20 minutes.
If needed, the lawyer will make amendments directly to your Will to ensure it meets your instructions. You will then be provided with your final draft Will for signature.
If you need any small changes made over the next 12 months, this would be included in the cost. However a change to the entirety of your Will, or changes after 12 months would be at an additional cost.
There are no specific criteria regarding suitability for
legal advice in Willmaking, however generally you might like to consider
obtaining legal advice if you:
Have high value assets;
Have a blended family;
Are looking to cut a dependent (like a spouse or child) out of your Will;
Are going or will be going through a change in marital status;
Have assets overseas;
Would like to control the age that your child(ren) inherit assets;
Have a child with a special disability;
Are making a Will at an older age (say 70+) and/or have issues with cognition;
Have interests in a company, trust or self managed superannuation fund.
The cost of the Legal Advice service is fixed at $199 including GST.
You can add Legal Advice onto your Will at the checkout page. If you have already purchased your Will and want to add Legal Advice, just reach out to our team via chat and they can provide you with a bespoke link to book in the service.
The service includes all amendments required to ensure that the Will aligns with your instructions, however does not include setting up a testamentary trust inside your Will.
Testamentary trusts are a complex structure that require a completely separate Will document to be drafted.
If a testamentary trust is requested in your Will, you will be provided with a separate fixed fee quote for approval.
Once you add Legal Advice at checkout, you will receive an email from us containing a link to book a callback at a time that is suitable for you.
Was looking at an inexpensive way of doing a will and came across Safewill. Its not free but it seemed more comprehensive and professional than those ones on the internet. Went for it and the result was a very detailed will which was legally reviewed. Great stuff and highly recommend.Lee K
As my family and I are always caught up with family & work commitments, Safewill has made this possible for us to get our Wills documents easily and conveniently. We can get them done ONLINE at the comfort of our home. And they are affordable too. Thanks Safewill.Ben K
I was completely unsure of completing such an important document, such as my Will “on-line” with a company such as this. This has been one of the easiest experiences I have ever encountered when completing legal documentation. This company really made it easy for me. Cannot thank them enough.Sharon R
Great to see a company promoting affordable Wills for the average person, it’s not an easy thing to do for some people to address the making of a Will but has to done and save loved ones heartache after you pass away. Well done Safewill, thank you :)Craig T
I have been putting off having a will completed for a long time due to the cost and fear of the unknown. Safewill made the fear of the unknown easier to deal with, and completing my will when there was a sale on alleviated my cost blowout fears. To add in a Power of Attorney was very easy as well.Roslyn H
Easy to get through, easy to read. And easy to update for any changes. Best idea for wills! I highly recommend this for everyone. Leave a will, don’t ignore it for laterDebbie H
Very user friendly, with plenty of information given to enable the will writer to make informed decisions, when completing each section. The ability to update details as required is also offered. The fact that your finished will is reviewed by professionals, gives validation.Frances W
