Have a call with a Solicitor
A lawyer will talk to you about your personal circumstances, answer any questions about your Will, and assist in making amendments if needed.
Our Legal Advice service involves a phone call with a specialist Wills & Estate lawyer to discuss your Will. The length of the phone call depends on your personal circumstances, but will generally be approximately 20 minutes.
If needed, the lawyer will make amendments directly to your Will to ensure it meets your instructions. You will then be provided with your final draft Will for signature.
If you need any small changes made over the next 12 months, this would be included in the cost. However a change to the entirety of your Will, or changes after 12 months would be at an additional cost.
There are no specific criteria regarding suitability for
legal advice in Willmaking, however generally you might like to consider
obtaining legal advice if you:
Have high value assets;
Have a blended family;
Are looking to cut a dependent (like a spouse or child) out of your Will;
Are going or will be going through a change in marital status;
Have assets overseas;
Would like to control the age that your child(ren) inherit assets;
Have a child with a special disability;
Are making a Will at an older age (say 70+) and/or have issues with cognition;
Have interests in a company, trust or self managed superannuation fund.
The cost of the Legal Advice service is fixed at $199 including GST.

The service includes all amendments required to ensure that the Will aligns with your instructions, however does not include setting up a testamentary trust inside your Will.
Testamentary trusts are a complex structure that require a completely separate Will document to be drafted.
If a testamentary trust is requested in your Will, you will be provided with a separate fixed fee quote for approval.

Very user friendly, with plenty of information given to enable the will writer to make informed decisions, when completing each section. The ability to update details as required is also offered. The fact that your finished will is reviewed by professionals, gives validation.
